IRacing, VTubers, NASCAR
- Cameron entered the world of iRacing through the 24 Hours of Lemons, which created its own iRacing league in April 2020 to fill the space left behind from the COVID-19 pandemic.
- She fell down the rabbit hole into the VTuber universe through YouTube and Twitter, climbing out as the motorsports-themed "Lady Jaye" Aubernon in October 2021.
- Podium Sports, a sim racing broadcaster, brought Cameron on as its social media manager in October 2021, allowing her to work with NASCAR greats like Darrell Waltrip and Kyle Busch during Twitch and YouTube streams of iRacing leagues like the NASCAR media-based Monday Night Racing, the Sunoco Cup Series, and the Porsche Club of America's own PCA Sim Racing.
Experience
Cameron started her writing career in the early 2010s as an independent fashion blogger. However, it was easier to write about cars — which she's known more than a few things about since she was a child — than about fashion — which she fell into through her friends and contacts in the fashion industry. Thus, Cameron's journey has taken her to various publications such as Hagerty, eBay Motors Blog, Girls Guide to Cars, Street Trucks, Racing Junk, RideApart, and more. She is a member of the Washington Automotive Press Association.
Education
Cameron started her undergraduate education at Wichita State University before transferring to The Evergreen State College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts.
